AGM and Committee Updates

In advance of the AGM which we are planning for later in September 2022 I wanted to update you on a couple of changes that are happening in the committee.

Firstly Alison Kaines is standing down as Secretary with immediate effect but will remain on the committee in a welfare perspective. We are pleased to confirm that Dot Kennard has agreed to become our new club Secretary with immediate effect.

Secondly, Diana Davis will be standing down from the committee and her role as Membership Secretary at the AGM in September. Diana has been a massive supporter in the committee since I joined the club and I am very grateful for her support and help over the years.

Diana’s resignation creates a vacancy on the committee and we will be looking for a club member to join the committee, potentially as Membership Secretary, through the AGM process. If anybody is interested there is a job role description for Membership Secretary that I can share. Feel free to reach out to me or any other member of the committee if you would like to discuss joining the committee.
